Darryl Kissick commissioned me to create an illustrated visualizer for his track 'Alien' off his new album, Goodbye Patterns. He wanted the overall vibe of the animation to feel sinister, as he explored unique sounds to make the track feel dark and creepy. Loosely basing the style off of 1950's CIA interrogation footage, the character slowly emerges from the darkness through animated grain - hopefully piquing the viewers curiosity while they enjoy the unsettling nature of the song.
