When the Shopify team told me the theme of the '25 Winter Edition would be boring, I didn't expect it to become one of the wildest projects I've worked on.

The '25 Winter Edition wasn't about extravagant new features
it focused on the idea that great software just works. No frillsjust improvements, bug fixes, and making sure everything runs seamlessly.
I designed and brought the Keynote video to life, and created a variety of television channels that showcased the product updates. With over 150 updates to cover within a tight timeline, we used AI tools to capture different genres, styles and time periods. We embraced the quirks and unpredictability of AI, and treated it as a creative partner rather than just a tool.
We managed to create a channel for every updatedriven by how much we enjoyed the process. The result is a fully interactive Edition that's both fun and informative.
